Call Center Engineer

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced VoIP / Call Center Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in FreeSWITCH, FusionPBX, SIP, WebRTC, and call center/dialer platforms. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing voice infrastructure, call routing, integrations, and troubleshooting.

✅ Core Skills & Requirements

* 2–3 years of practical VoIP / Call Center Engineering experience

* Strong hands-on expertise in FreeSWITCH & FusionPBX

* Advanced knowledge of SIP, SDP, RTP, SIP Trunking & call routing

* Experience with WebRTC, WSS, TLS/SRTP, ICE, STUN/TURN

* Hands-on experience with IVR, queues, ring groups, DIDs & extensions

* Experience with predictive/progressive dialers and inbound/outbound campaigns

* Strong troubleshooting of one-way/no audio, NAT, codec, DTMF, registration & routing issues

* Proficiency in SIP/RTP analysis using Wireshark, sngrep or tcpdump

* Working knowledge of Linux, PostgreSQL, networking, firewall & RTP troubleshooting

* Strong understanding of CDRs, call recording, monitoring and reporting

Added Advantage: Kamailio/OpenSIPS, RTPengine, SIP.js/JsSIP, CRM/API integrations, Redis, Python/Node.js/Bash or cloud deployments.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

* Deploy, configure and maintain FreeSWITCH/FusionPBX environments

* Design and manage inbound/outbound call flows, SIP trunks, DIDs, IVRs and queues

* Configure and support dialer campaigns, agent routing, dialing rules and call recording

* Implement and troubleshoot WebRTC-based calling and SIP over WSS

* Diagnose and resolve complex SIP/RTP, carrier and network-related issues

* Maintain CDRs, reporting, monitoring, failover and basic redundancy

* Apply VoIP security controls including ACLs, TLS/SRTP, firewall rules and fraud prevention

* Take ownership of the complete voice environment from carrier integration to agent connectivity
