Description:
We are hiring an n8n Automation Engineer with a solid understanding of coding (especially JavaScript) and API integrations. The ideal candidate will not only build automation workflows but also extend functionality through custom scripting, API calls, and error-handling logic to support our business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust automation workflows using n8n.
- Connect tools like Airtable, Slack, Gmail, CRMs, FlowHCM, and more through native integrations and APIs.
- Write and manage custom JavaScript functions within n8n nodes to handle data manipulation and advanced logic.
- Use HTTP Request nodes for non-native integrations.
- Debug, test, and optimize existing workflows for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and deliver solutions.
- Maintain documentation of all workflows and logic used.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience with n8n (open-source or hosted).
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and able to write logic for function nodes.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
- Experience integrating tools like Google Sheets, Airtable, Slack, Email platforms, CRMs, etc.
- Ability to handle conditional logic, loops, and error-handling in automations.
- Familiarity with Git, backend services, or databases is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
