Autocad Draftsman

Description:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in the fabrication of stainless steel components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a keen understanding of fabrication standards. This role also involves creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and performing cost estimations for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and specifications for stainless steel piping, storage and mixer tanks, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform cost estimations for fabrication projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant fabrication standards and industry regulations.
• Review and modify existing drawings as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of fabrication plans and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DAE Mechanical) or relevant field.
• 2-3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting for fabrication projects.
• Experience in creating 2D and 3D drawings, as well as preparing BOQs and cost estimation.
• Relevant certifications in drafting or fabrication are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication standards and best practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
