Description:
LDP Logistics is a dynamic, fast-growing 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) provider specializing in the
supply chain industry. We master the complexities of domestic transportation and freight management. We are looking for a motivated Freight Forwarder to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate ocean import shipments from pre-alert to final delivery.
- Manage shipment documentation and maintain accurate operational records.
- Communicate with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, and internal teams regarding shipment status.
- Track shipments and proactively follow up on pending documents, approvals, and operational updates.
- Coordinate cargo release, delivery orders, and payment requirements.
- Verify shipment-related charges and documentation before cargo release.
- Resolve operational issues and respond to customer inquiries.
- Maintain shipment trackers and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Support the operations team with daily tasks and prepare freight quotations when required.
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Knowledge of freight forwarding documentation and logistics software (GoFreight, CargoWise, Magaya, or similar).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates with relevant experience and immediate joiners will be given preference.
