Assistant Operations Manager

 

Description:

 

The Assistant Operations Manager will work closely with the COO and Operations Department to ensure smooth coordination between technical teams, customer support, sales, inventory, and field operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Operations Management

• Assist in managing daily company operations.

• Coordinate with technical, customer support, sales, and field teams.

• Monitor task completion and ensure operational efficiency.

• Support implementation of company policies and procedures.

 

Team Coordination

• Supervise field technicians and support staff.

• Monitor attendance, duty schedules, and performance.

• Conduct team follow-ups and daily operational meetings.

• Ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

 

Customer Service Oversight

• Monitor complaint resolution processes.

• Coordinate with customer support representatives.

• Ensure service requests are handled within defined timelines.

• Maintain customer satisfaction standards.

 

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

• Maintain project records and operational documentation.

• Monitor KPIs and departmental performance metrics.

• Assist management in preparing operational analyses.

 

Inventory & Asset Management

• Monitor stock levels of networking equipment and materials.

• Coordinate equipment issuance and returns.

• Maintain inventory records and asset tracking.

 

Project Coordination

• Support FTTH deployment and expansion projects.

• Coordinate installation and maintenance activities.

• Assist in planning resources and manpower requirements.

 

Requirements

 

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.

 

Experience

• 2+ years experience in operations, administration, ISP, telecommunications, networking, or related industries.

• Experience managing teams will be preferred.

 

Skills

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools.

• Understanding of ISP, networking, FTTH, or telecommunications operations is an advantage.
