Assistant Manager

 

Description:

We are seeking a results-driven sales professional with strong experience in Less than Container Load (LCL) freight forwarding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding the LCL customer portfolio, and achieving assigned sales targets through consultative selling and relationship management.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities for LCL import and export services.
  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Conduct customer meetings, prepare quotations, and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.

 

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of business development experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience in LCL freight sales is mandatory.
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Sound understanding of international freight forwarding and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
