Description:
The Animation Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality 2D/3D animations, motion graphics, and video content that support program communication, outreach, and storytelling.
This is not a purely marketing role — the work must balance creative energy with institutional credibility, ensuring visuals are engaging for startup audiences while appropriate for a public-sector context.
Role Scope
The role spans three core areas:
- Animation and motion design for programs and campaigns
- Video production and post-production support
- Visual storytelling for startup, ecosystem, and impact communication
Qualifications & Experience
- 16 years of education in Animation, Visual Arts, Multimedia, Design, or an equivalent discipline from an HEC-recognized institution
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in animation, motion graphics, or video design, preferably in a corporate, agency, or structured program environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across animation, video, and visual design
- Proficiency in relevant tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender/Cinema 4D, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar)
- Ability to work with briefs, timelines, and feedback cycles
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and short videos from concept to final delivery
- Collaborate with marketing, program, and product teams to develop visual assets for campaigns, websites, social media, presentations, and reports
- Edit raw video footage and enhance it with sound effects, music, voiceovers, transitions, and visual effects
- Design visual elements such as titles, lower thirds, animated infographics, and transitions
- Support video shoots where required, including basic planning, lighting, sound, and camera coordination
- Maintain brand consistency across all video and animation outputs
- Optimize video and animation content for different platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, internal presentations, etc.)
- Track timelines, revisions, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of work
- Stay updated on animation and motion design trends, tools, and best practices
