Alibaba Sourcing Manager

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Alibaba Sourcing Manager to hunt, negotiate, and coordinate with gymwear manufacturers in China for exporting to Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sourcing, supplier verification, and the complete procurement process, ensuring premium quality, timely production, and smooth shipping.

Responsibilities:

✅ Hunt and shortlist high-quality gymwear manufacturers on Alibaba and other Chinese sourcing platforms

✅ Conduct supplier verification and due diligence to ensure authenticity, quality standards, and certifications

✅ Request, compare, and negotiate quotes for various product categories (leggings, sports bras, tanks, joggers, etc.)

✅ Coordinate sampling, quality control, and product testing before final orders

✅ Manage end-to-end procurement including MOQ, pricing, timelines, and logistics options to Dubai

✅ Build strong relationships with shortlisted manufacturers for long-term brand partnerships

✅ Prepare clear sourcing reports and recommendations for management

✅ Stay updated with market trends, fabrics, and new supplier offerings in gymwear

Requirements:

✔️ Proven experience in sourcing from Alibaba, especially in apparel and activewear categories

✔️ Strong negotiation and communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus)

✔️ Knowledge of export procedures, shipping, and customs documentation to UAE

✔️ Detail-oriented with ability to assess quality standards and product specifications

✔️ Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

✔️ Experience with gymwear brands or fitness apparel sourcing is highly preferred
