Software Architect

Description:

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyzes software requirements and designs develop and executes software solutions to address business issues.
• Provides technical leadership to the team, technical mentoring to team members, and regular one-on-ones with them.
• Performs Architectural and Code reviews.
• Regular meetings with supervisors/department managers/stakeholders
• Proposes project plans, based on his/her decisions about all technical aspects: functionality, performance, resilience, reuse, comprehensibility, scalability, security, technology constraints, and tradeoffs.
• Ensures that these decisions are effectively communicated to both stakeholders and technical staff and takes full ownership.
• Evaluates and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product.
• Provides architectural blueprints, and designs the entire system based on the received requirements.
• Chooses the system architecture and each individual component of this system at a high level.
• Chooses the technologies for the implementation of each component and connections between the components.
• Resolves technical problems. Understands and plans evolutionary paths.
• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
• Plans new technology insertion.
