People Business Partner

 

Description:


The People Business Partner plays a key role in aligning HR strategy with business objectives. This role acts as a consultant to managers and employees on HR-related issues, providing guidance and support in areas such as employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational change.

What You'll Do
 

  • Partner with the Senior, Lead or manager HRBP to understand business goals and align HR strategies that support them.
  • Drive consistent implementation of HR strategies across assigned client groups or business functions.
  • Act as an upward communication channel on organizational developments that may influence HR strategy.
  • Support managers in building and managing effective teams across leadership effectiveness, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and employee relations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on talent development, inclusive leadership, and resolving employee concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the broader HR team to deliver programs and initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention across assigned client groups.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support change management initiatives and projects within assigned client groups, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication.
  • Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into talent management practices to foster a respectful and inclusive workplace.
     

What We're Looking For
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3+ years in an HRBP role supporting business leaders, client groups, or comparable functions.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and the business functions they support.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders to drive HR initiatives and solve complex organizational challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Experience with change management processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience supporting global teams is a plus.
