Description:
The Interior Design & Project Assistant will support the Owners and Lead Designers in the coordination and execution of interior design and design–build projects. The role is hands-on and execution-focused, combining design support, project coordination, procurement assistance, and site-based follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Support active interior design and design–build projects from design through execution
- Read, understand, and work confidently from architectural, interior, and MEP drawings
- Coordinate design changes and revisions across drawings and site execution
- Assist with finish schedules, FF&E lists, and design documentation
- Prepare presentations, mood boards, material boards, and finish schedules
- Support bespoke furniture and built-in development and manufacturing coordination
- Liaise with suppliers, workshops, consultants, and site teams
- Maintain organised project and production records
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points
- Assist with procurement, quotations, approvals, and lead-time tracking
- Support basic social media content preparation and asset organisation
- Assist with general studio tasks and documentation as required
Skills & Experience
- Background in interior design or a related field
- Strong drawing literacy and ability to execute changes accurately
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and deadline-focused
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks
Preferred (not essential):
- CAD knowledge or prior drafting experience
- Familiarity with social media content workflows
- Own transport
