Description:
As the HR Manager at Vertex IT Solutions, you will lead and manage all core human resource functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance. This is a key leadership role requiring a hands-on professional who can take full ownership of the HR function and drive strategic initiatives that support our organizational goals.
You will be responsible for strengthening the HR department, building efficient hiring processes, and ensuring the timely acquisition of high-caliber talent that aligns with Vertex’s standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will take accountability for delivering measurable results , reducing hiring timelines, enhancing employee retention, and fostering a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture that reflects Vertex’s values and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles.
- Develop and execute effective hiring strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage employer branding initiatives and partnerships with universities and job platforms.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and respect.
- Plan and execute engagement programs, events, and recognition initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employee concerns, ensuring fair and transparent resolutions.
3. Performance Management
- Oversee performance appraisal cycles and goal-setting processes.
- Partner with department heads to identify development and training needs.
- Implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
4. HR Operations & Policy Management
- Maintain HR records, attendance systems, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure company policies are up to date and legally compliant.
- Drive process improvements across HR functions to enhance efficiency.
5. Culture & Strategy
- Align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and professional growth within the workplace.
- Provide insights and analytics to senior leadership for data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven HR experience, preferably within the IT or software development industry.
- Strong command of recruitment strategies, talent management, and HR operations.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership, lead independently, and deliver measurable results.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of Pakistan’s labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software, applicant tracking systems, and MS Office tools.
- Willingness to work onsite during night shift hours (aligned with U.S. operations).
