Hr Generalist & Admin Lead

 

Description:

We are looking for a competent and proactive HR Generalist & Admin lead to manage the day-to-day HR and administrative operations of our furniture factory and showroom. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workforce management, compliance, discipline, and efficient coordination between factory and office teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and induction of factory workers and office staff
  • Manage daily attendance, overtime & payroll, prepare monthly salaries, calculate overtime, deductions and advances
  • Handle joining, documentation and trial period monitoring of workers and staff.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures, ensure proper documentation, filing, and record keeping
  • Manage employee performance evaluations and appraisals of staff
  • Maintain discipline and productivity on factory workers and management staff
  • Handle worker issues, hiring & replacements and maintain backup pool of skilled workers and arrange quick hirings of workers (carpenters, helpers etc)
  • Supervise admin operations (Drivers, vehicles, gate operations, guards, cleaners, maintenance)
  • Ensure cleanliness, maintenance and discipline in factory & showroom
  • Ensure smooth factory + showroom operations
  • Manage waste, Hostel, transportation, tea, Solar and generator backup. RO Plant, utilities, stationery, IT equipment, issues and daily operational needs
  • Manage Social security, EOBI, Labor departments, must be basic knowledge of Labor laws
  • Follow up with production team for Worker availability and Delays due to manpower issues

 

Key Performance Indicators:

This role will be evaluated based on:

  • Attendance control (minimum absenteeism)
  • Worker discipline (reduced conflicts/issues)
  • Timely hiring (no production delays due to labor shortage) and No management staff vacancy in departments
  • Accurate payroll data (no errors)
  • Smooth factory operations

 

Required Skills:

3 years experience in factory HR / Admin role (must)

Strong personality — able to control labor workforce and staff

Experience handling blue-collar workers (carpenters, labor, etc.)

Basic knowledge of labor laws

Good in AI tools, record keeping & Excel

Must be active, field-oriented, and strict when needed
