Hr Generalist

 

Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic manufacturing company in Karachi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR operations, and supporting the organization’s growth objectives. This role demands a hands-on HR professional who can independently handle recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements. You will be the backbone of our HR department, driving policies that foster a productive and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate screening, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding to ensure timely hiring aligned with business needs.

  • Administer and oversee employee benefits including group health, life insurance, EOBI, SESSI, and PESSI compliances to maintain employee welfare and statutory adherence.

  • Monitor and manage attendance, shift schedules, and leave management through HR software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

  • Prepare, review, and process monthly payroll, allowances, and statutory deductions accurately and on time.

  • Maintain updated employee records and HR documentation in compliance with legal standards.

  • Coordinate with department heads and senior management for workforce planning and employee development initiatives.

  • Resolve employee grievances, facilitate disciplinary actions, and promote a healthy workplace culture.

  • Support HR audits and implement continuous improvements in HR systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.

  • Hands-on experience with HR software tools such as TimeTrax, AMT, or equivalent for attendance, payroll, and employee management.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance related to EOBI, SESSI, PESSI, and payroll regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
