Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic manufacturing company in Karachi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR operations, and supporting the organization’s growth objectives. This role demands a hands-on HR professional who can independently handle recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements. You will be the backbone of our HR department, driving policies that foster a productive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate screening, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding to ensure timely hiring aligned with business needs.
Administer and oversee employee benefits including group health, life insurance, EOBI, SESSI, and PESSI compliances to maintain employee welfare and statutory adherence.
Monitor and manage attendance, shift schedules, and leave management through HR software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Prepare, review, and process monthly payroll, allowances, and statutory deductions accurately and on time.
Maintain updated employee records and HR documentation in compliance with legal standards.
Coordinate with department heads and senior management for workforce planning and employee development initiatives.
Resolve employee grievances, facilitate disciplinary actions, and promote a healthy workplace culture.
Support HR audits and implement continuous improvements in HR systems and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
Hands-on experience with HR software tools such as TimeTrax, AMT, or equivalent for attendance, payroll, and employee management.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance related to EOBI, SESSI, PESSI, and payroll regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
