Wordpress/shopify Developer

Description:

RUNWAY PAKISTAN is looking for an experienced Full Stack WordPress / Shopify Web Developer with at least 2 - 3 years of experience. An agile web developer who is highly skilled in performing both back-end and front-end WordPress / Shopify development. The position requires an individual with thorough knowledge in areas such as PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Liquid coding.

Responsibilities:

1) Designing and implementing new features and functionality with Customized Solutions if needed.

2) Experience working with WordPress/WooCommerce.

3) Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme.

4) Knowledge of PHP best practices, debugging and profiling.

5) Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.

6) Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.

7) Create landing pages for marketing campaigns in coordination with the E-Commerce team.

8) Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.


Requirements:

1) Must be having strong concepts of OOP, Databases, Logic building and debugging.

2) Good understanding of front-end technologies, including Bootstrap, HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS, JQuery, JavaScript, Liquid.

3) Experience in Shopify / WordPress themes and plugins development.

4) Experience in custom plugins development in CorePHP or any PHP related MVC framework and strong understanding of PHP back-end development.

6) Implement advanced debugging techniques and usage of browser developer tools.

7) Experience with Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating.

8) Experience with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.

9) Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating Custom Solutions if necessary.

10) Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}.
