Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress and Shopify websites from the ground up, including theme and plugin development.
• Collaborate with the design and project management teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and standards.
• Customize and extend existing themes and plugins to meet project-specific requirements.
• Perform website optimization, ensuring sites are fast, responsive, and SEO-friendly.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that may arise during the development and testing phases.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure high-quality work.
• Provide technical support and assistance for clients' websites as needed.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to codebase improvements and quality control.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress and Shopify developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing custom website development projects.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Solid experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid templating language and the Shopify ecosystem.
• Knowledge of web development tools and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge of SEO and website optimization best practices is a plus.
