Wordpress + Shopify Custom Developer

We’re hiring a Junior CMS Developer with real experience in custom WordPress and Shopify development. You’ll be responsible for building, modifying, and optimizing client websites using custom themes, plugins, and components. From converting Figma designs to fully functional storefronts, to integrating dynamic features — your job is to deliver clean, responsive, and scalable solutions without relying on drag-and-drop builders.

Key Responsibilities

* Customize WordPress themes and plugins with custom PHP, ACF, and template logic

* Build and edit Shopify stores using Liquid, JSON templates, and custom sections

* Convert Figma/UI files into pixel-perfect, responsive code

* Implement custom features, filters, product logic, and checkout tweaks

* Troubleshoot layout, functionality, or compatibility issues

* Optimize speed, performance, and SEO across devices

* Integrate third-party tools, tracking scripts, and APIs where needed

* Push updates via Git and follow structured workflows

* Work directly with designers and project leads on daily deliverables

Requirements

* Hands-on experience with custom WordPress development (not just Elementor/Divi)

* Solid working knowledge of Shopify Liquid, theme structure, and product architecture

* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and Shopify’s Liquid templating

* Ability to build responsive pages from Figma/Design tools

* Understanding of collections, filters, metafields, product templates

* Familiar with performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO basics

* Can execute tasks independently and deliver under deadlines

* Strong communication and documentation habits

* A good eye for website design/layout — not just code execution

* Experience in designing UI components and improving user experience

* Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools from a design perspective

* Ability to suggest layout improvements or design alternatives when needed
