The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, theme development, and plugin customization. We are looking for someone who can independently manage projects from conception to completion, with a strong emphasis on code quality, performance optimization, and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Developing custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Creating and managing complex website layouts and functionalities using page builders like Elementor or Divi etc.
- Optimizing website performance, speed, and SEO through technical SEO practices.
- Integrating third-party APIs and services into WordPress platforms.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to WordPress.
- Maintaining and updating existing WordPress websites.
- Collaborating with designers, marketers, and other team members to deliver exceptional projects.
Required Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, custom post types, taxonomies, and template hierarchy.
- Experience with popular WordPress page builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.).
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
