Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant to join our team in an on-site role. In this position, you will work from our office while providing administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers and patients remotely. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent English communication, and experience with U.S. medical office workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
>Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
>Answer patient phone calls, emails, and messages professionally.
>Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations.
>Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
>Assist with patient intake, documentation, and chart preparation.
>Process referrals, prescription refill requests, and follow-up appointments.
>Coordinate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, laboratories, and patients.
>Support medical billing and documentation when required.
>Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
>Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
>Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or Virtual Medical Assistant.
>Excellent spoken and written English.
>Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, AdvancedMD, Epic, OfficyAly or similar.
>Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and prior authorizations.
>Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
>Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
>Experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare providers.
>Experience with medical billing and coding is a plus.
