We are looking for a Long-Form Video Editor & Systems-Driven Visual Storyteller who understands that premium editing is an organized, predictable production line, not an erratic art project. In this role, you will take raw multi-cam client footage, optimize the audio, and craft high-retention, narrative-rich long-form master episodes for YouTube and audio platforms.
Crucially, you will be the anchor of our content pipeline your master timelines must be so structurally immaculate that our downstream Short-Form and Trailer editors can seamlessly extract high-converting assets without friction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master Asset Creation: Edit full-length video podcasts and corporate interviews, optimizing multi-cam tracking, narrative flow, and pacing to reflect a premium B2B executive brand.
- The Pipeline Anchor: Maintain perfectly organized, color-coded, and labeled timelines (Premiere Pro) to ensure the downstream Short-Form and Trailer editing teams can pull assets with zero technical friction.
- B2B Audience Retention: Implement clean, professional motion graphics, lower thirds, b-roll, and text pop-ups engineered to retain sophisticated professional audiences (not viral hype/brainrot loops).
- Audio Engineering Quality Control: Clean and enhance raw client audio files (noise reduction, leveling, compression) to meet flawless studio broadcast standards.
- Operational SOP Compliance: Follow rigid agency checklists and quality control (QC) protocols to hit baseline benchmarks on the first export.
- System Tracking & Visibility: Proactively log project statuses, revisions, and bottlenecks daily inside Notion, maintaining clear lines of communication with the Podcast Manager.
- Tool & AI Leverage: Actively utilize automated efficiency tools (e.g., AI rough cutters, auto-transcribers, or text-based editing extensions) to drastically speed up assembly time without compromising structural quality.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 1+ Years of Proven Experience with Video Podcasts: Deep understanding of interview formats, multi-cam switching, and maintaining conversational narrative flow.
- 1+ Years of YouTube Optimization Experience: Proven track record of pacing long-form videos to optimize viewer retention and professional engagement.
- 1+ Years of Motion Graphics & Visual Storytelling: Mastery over clean, corporate-aligned graphics, sound design cues, and visual asset integration.
- Technical Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Capcut/Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects (required for our centralized workflow).
- Systems Mindset: Strong organizational skills with a strict adherence to file-naming conventions, project templates, and deadline-driven content calendars.
- Professional Communication: Excellent teamwork and proactive communication skills to smoothly integrate team and client feedback.
- Education Background: Bachelor's degree in Media, Marketing, Communication, IT, or equivalent professional agency portfolio.
