Video Editor

Description:

We are hiring one extremely high-level Video Editor to join the client’s existing editing team. This is a long-term, full-time, remote position for someone who can consistently deliver MagnatesMedia-style cinematic documentaries and elevate an already strong production pipeline.

What You’ll Do

• Work full-time as part of the channel’s editing team
• Edit 2–4 long-form videos per month (10–15 minutes each)
• Handle full post-production, including:
• Editing, pacing, and storytelling
• Sound design and music selection
• Color grading, transitions, and motion graphics
• Collaborate closely with:
• Scriptwriters
• Voiceover artists
• An existing high-level editor
• Match the emotion, tension, and pacing of MagnatesMedia-style documentaries
• Deliver consistently cinematic, high-retention videos

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, proven experience editing in the MagnatesMedia style
• If you don’t already know how to edit exactly like this, this role won’t be a fit
• Exceptional sound design (audio must feel alive, dramatic, and intentional)
• Strong storytelling instincts with a deep understanding of pacing and emotional payoff
• Highly detail-oriented with elite quality standards
• Reliable, deadline-driven, and comfortable working remotely
