Dongjin Battery is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor based in Gulberg, Lahore, to join their dynamic creative team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and short-form video editing platforms like CapCut, with a preference for experience in AI-powered video editing tools such as Descript, HeyGen, and Synthesia.

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and polishing engaging short-form videos tailored for diverse digital platforms, ensuring that the final output meets brand standards, client goals, and the unique requirements of various social media algorithms. Collaborating closely with the creative team, the editor will help conceptualize and produce video content that drives audience engagement and effectively communicates the intended message through compelling storytelling.

Additionally, the candidate should have the capability to record and capture videos and events, adding value to content creation beyond editing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit, refine, and produce high-quality short-form video content for digital platforms, aligning with brand guidelines and client objectives.

• Collaborate with creative team members to develop and execute video concepts that increase engagement.

• Apply a strong sense of storytelling and visual appeal to ensure videos are captivating and effectively communicate the message.

• Stay abreast of current industry trends, editing techniques, and social media video best practices to continually enhance output quality.

• Record and capture videos and events as required.

• Ensure proper video formatting and exporting for platforms including YouTube, reels, and animated content.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skills in both short-form and long-form video projects.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and short-form video editing platforms like CapCut.

• Experience with AI video tools like Descript, HeyGen, and Synthesia is highly desirable.

• Excellent understanding of various video formats, especially for YouTube, reels, and other social media content, including exporting procedures optimized for each platform.

• Strong storytelling ability with a creative mindset.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Must provide an updated resume and portfolio showcasing previous work.
