Veterinary Assistant

Description:

Bahria Town Karachi is seeking a compassionate and responsible Para Vet to assist in the care of animals at DanZoo, their zoological facility. This role involves supporting veterinarians in providing medical care, monitoring animal health, administering medications, and maintaining hygiene and accurate records. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, experienced in handling animals, and hold relevant qualifications in veterinary sciences.

This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of a wide variety of animals in a structured and ethical zoo environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in treatment and animal care routines

• Monitor animal health and administer prescribed medications

• Maintain hygiene standards across enclosures and treatment areas

• Keep accurate medical and treatment records for animals

• Support animal care protocols in alignment with zoo standards

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Livestock Assistant or Para Veterinary Sciences (LAD/LDA or equivalent)

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role preferred

• Physically fit and comfortable working with animals

• Responsible, compassionate, and detail-oriented
