Description:
The User Experience Design Team is responsible for the experience of Easypaisa’s digital channels. We are looking for experienced UI/UX designers to strategically drive product design that have a significant impact on our business.
As a UI/UX Expert you must have a comprehensive understanding of UX methodologies, solid experiences in digital product design and both soft and analytical skills.
- Work according to the overall direction of Easypaisa digital channels’ design and customer experience
- Work directly with prospect users and merchants to design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behavior and verify design concepts. And implement critical learnings from usability exercises and bring them to fruition on the App.
- Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases.
- Develop sound UI boards for these UX concepts for end customer implementation according to Easypaisa branding, user interface and experience guidelines
- Converting designs into slices or artifacts that can be consumed by the developers in an effective manner
- Exploring UI & visual solutions, creating UX flows, building wireframes in a rapid prototyping model
- Conduct post implementation analysis by identifying design problems and devise practical solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with multiple functional teams, including product managers, researchers, business development and marketing colleagues.
- Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Get all stakeholders onboard for new developments by Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Participate in key internal meetings including planning sessions, status updates and brainstorming exercise
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
- Be responsible for end to end quality assurance testing for their products before they go live.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in interaction design, industrial design, computer science, psychology, human factor or equivalent education or experience.
- 2+ years of interaction design experience in designing web/mobile products or financial products.
- 4-6 Years of work experience
- Agile framework knowledge (preferred)
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Being a team player is a must
- Willing to put in the learning hours
- Understanding of in mobile app development process from scratch to post-launch user experience monitoring.
- Proven track record in translating business targets into user experience designs
- Be user-centric, always put user value as the top priority in the design process
- Experience with qualitative, quantitative research and user-centered design methodologies
- Expert knowledge of standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin etc)
- Key understanding of UX documentation – annotations for implementations etc.
- Excellent communication skills, cross-team collaboration skill and ability to make compelling and clear design presentations for varied audiences
- A strong passion for improving people’s lives through human centered design
- Having a keen eye on the design trends, front-edge technologies and designs.
- Experience in designing a mobile app in Pakistan market is a big bonus.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is plus point
