Job Summary:
As an Independent Truck Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in the logistics operations of our fast-growing company. You will be responsible for finding freight loads, negotiating rates with brokers, planning optimal routes, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. This is a comprehensive role that requires strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities :
- Freight Matching: Actively search for and secure profitable freight loads from various platforms and brokers.
- Rate Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate freight rates with brokers to ensure maximum profitability.
- Route Planning: Utilize advanced logistics tools to plan the most efficient routes, taking into account various factors such as weather conditions, road closures, and delivery windows.
- Driver Communication: Maintain open and timely communication with drivers, providing them with all necessary information for successful deliveries.
- Broker Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between drivers and brokers, facilitating real-time updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations are conducted by federal, state, and company policies, including safety standards and delivery protocols.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all transactions, including broker agreements, driver routes, and customer interactions for future analysis and reporting.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all stakeholders are satisfied and informed throughout the shipping process.
