Tehsil Manager

 

Description:

Ghulam Hussain & Sons (GHS), one of Punjab’s most reputable private-sector waste management companies, is hiring a Tehsil Manager for Kotli Sattian. The role requires full-time on-ground leadership, overseeing field operations, workforce management, fleet performance, reporting, and compliance under the Suthra Punjab Project in coordination with RWMC and local administration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily waste collection, sweeping, transportation & disposal operations across Kotli Sattian tehsil.

 

 

Ensure smooth execution of RWMC contract deliverables, KPIs, HR attendance, fleet deployment & system compliance (PITB/Suthra Punjab portal).

 

 

Oversee supervisors, HR & operational workforce, ensuring discipline, attendance, performance, and timely shift deployment.

 

 

Troubleshoot field challenges including labour shortages, route blockages, machinery breakdowns, transfer station constraints, and weather-related disruptions.

 

 

Coordinate closely with RWMC Tehsil Manager, AC Office, DC Office, local bodies, and GHS District General Manager.

 

 

Verify daily tonnage, fleet logs, work reports, and ensure timely submission of operational documentation.

 

 

Monitor PED portal, HR attendance, roster planning, extra duties, Sunday overtime, holiday deployments & UC-level performance.

 

 

Ensure compliance with environmental protocols, waste enclosure standards, and SOPs as per administrative committee decisions.

 

 

Manage crises such as strikes, climatic disruptions, Eid-ul-Adha emergency operations, and traffic-restriction days.

 

 

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and financial reporting for head office & RWMC.

 

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences / Public Administration / Engineering / Management (preferred).

 

 

Minimum 3–5 years experience in field operations, municipal services, waste management, FMCG logistics, or managerial positions.

 

 

Prior experience managing large blue-collar teams, fleet operations, or government-linked service delivery projects is highly desirable.

 

 

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 

 

Ability to work under pressure, including irregular hours during emergencies.

 

 

Must be willing to relocate and work on ground in Kotli Sattian.
