Description:
We are looking for a Technical Manager who will lead our development team, maintain quality and accountability, and take full technical ownership of the entire platform.
As Technical Manager, you are the technical backbone of JobMark. You guide developers, maintain standards, oversee system health, and ensure continuous improvement of the product. You work closely with the founder to ensure transparent, efficient, and structured development workflows.
Your key responsibilities include leading the development team through daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and code reviews; monitoring commits, quality, and overall progress; enforcing consistent workflows using ClickUp and Time Doctor; reviewing developer activity logs and productivity; and holding the team accountable for deadlines. You are responsible for the technical health of the entire platform, including the mobile app, admin portal, client portal, and backend. You ensure that new features are implemented correctly, maintain security and code quality, create and oversee testing processes, and approve releases.
You will manage implementation of new Figma designs, ensure pixel-perfect and consistent execution, and collaborate with developers to resolve UX issues. You will also oversee technical integrations such as Stripe Connect (KYC, onboarding, payouts), ZEGOCLOUD, Twilio, Firebase, and Apple Push Notifications, while monitoring and improving workflows related to time tracking, invoicing, and payments. Additionally, you enforce clean code practices, track and resolve bugs, maintain documentation, and monitor system performance and stability.
We are seeking someone with experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Manager, or Senior Developer. You must have strong knowledge of Laravel, PHP, React Native, and MySQL, as well as experience with APIs, integrations, and payment systems (Stripe experience is a plus). You should have experience managing development teams of one to five developers, be communicative and clear, proactive and solution-oriented, and fully available during Dutch office hours. Experience with ClickUp, Time Doctor, app deployment, and App Store or Play Store releases is considered a bonus.
