Technical Writing Intern

Description:

We are looking for a Talented Technical Writer Intern to help create and build out a modern documentation and user assistance infrastructure. You will be a core part of the product management team working closely with engineering, project manager, and customer enablement to create resources that don’t just document what the product does, but accelerates a user from novice to power user.

Requirements

• Work with Project managers, Developers, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including: User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, In platform documentation (tooltips, CSET, IBM etc.).
• Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online video, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques.
• Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, production, and technical editing skills.
• Very strong analytical skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities.
• Exposure to documentation publishing software (MadCap, RoboHelp, Wiki-based).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
• Fresh or 1 year of proven experience in writing technical documentation.
