Description:
We are currently looking for a Technical Writer. This role will be responsible for coordinating with the technical team and providing written documentation for systems products, flow diagrams, configuration, and technical manuals and websites contents.
Responsibilities
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
- Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
- Prior experience in technical writing and documentation
- Coordinating with Development and QA Department to make technical documents
- Using flowcharts, drawings, diagrams to increase user’s understanding
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for details
- Designing and creating mock screens
- Use Case analysis/documentation
- Creating business process flow diagrams
- Evaluating in-progress and/or finished products against the requirements specifications
- Excellent English writing skills
- Excellent understating of modern application platforms: Web/Cloud, Mobile, Windows etc.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a software house
QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in the technology industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand highly technical information
