Technical Services Lead

Description:

• Portfolio Management – The first point of contact for assigned territory providing technical support along the customers’ innovation process from ideation to commercialization to meet agreed business growth targets. Analyze customer processes, formulations and provide timely recommendations meeting customer requirements for cost savings, quality improvements, or product innovation.
• Strategic Planning – Development and implementation of strategies and provide input for the Strat Plan. Evolve and execute launch plans for new products and track progress in the marketplace. Also contribute to the development and implementation of plans to boost Core and Specialty growth. Plan and participate in exhibitions/events to exhibit our innovative product.
• Innovation & Business Development – Identify innovative ideas in support of the Segment growth and expand portfolio by developing new products in line with market, customer, and consumer needs. Utilize analytical equipment to diagnose problems and apply technical knowledge to subsequently make recommendations on ingredient selection and/or process adjustments. Identify and execute sales with new customers and distributors customers for a sustainable growth agenda. Figure out trends, macro insights and future scenarios that could impact long-term and short-term Segment growth.
• Internal & External Collaboration – Partner and maintain strong relationship with functional teams, particularly with Marketing/Segment, Core Business Sales Team and Customer Services to the mutual benefit of the customer base, team and the Company. Collaborate with customers, industry specialists, trade associations, distributors to understand the market and develop formal and informal networks. Liaison with Research and Development & application team for development of new products and solutions.
• Market & Business Understanding – Understand Ingredion, customer, competitor business and market dynamics within the segments. Develop knowledge of competitors and Ingredion’s market share to identify current and future sources of competitive advantage.
