Description:

Access Group of Companies, on behalf of IHI Asia Pacific, is urgently looking for an experienced and results-driven Technical Sales Manager for their operations in Karachi and Lahore. The selected candidate will be directly employed by IHI Asia Pacific and will report to the company, ensuring complete integration with their international standards, technical benchmarks, and operational excellence.

This role demands a technically competent sales professional who is skilled in the sale of industrial-grade equipment, specifically centrifugal air compressors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technical sales, client relationship management, and market dynamics within the industrial equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically drive sales growth by identifying, approaching, and securing new business opportunities in the assigned territory.

  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, offering tailored technical solutions to meet their needs.

  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation and client engagement to technical consultation, proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.

  • Develop comprehensive client profiles, covering detailed technical specifications including:

    • Production capacities

    • Usage patterns

    • Technical processes

    • Demand forecasting

    • Competitor activities

    • Client expansion plans

    • Decision-making hierarchy

  • Continuously analyze market trends and competitor strategies to refine sales tactics, improve positioning, and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Lead market development efforts by identifying new industry segments and expanding into untapped geographic regions.

  • Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth post-sale support and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirement: BE/BSc/MSc in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial)

  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the industrial equipment sector, with specific experience in centrifugal air compressors being highly advantageous

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and maintain self-discipline in a target-driven environment

  • Solid understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and CRM tools
