Description:
As a Technical Manager, you will lead technical service operations, ensure top-notch customer support, and provide technical assistance to sales and marketing teams. You will also conduct training sessions for internal teams, external partners, and end-users to enhance product knowledge and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Management
- Oversee the technical aspects of solar products, including PV panels, inverters, batteries, and other components.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on product quality, cost, and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and certifications.
2. Market Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the solar energy sector.
- Analyze competitor activities and pricing strategies to strengthen GenNex’s market position.
- Provide insights on emerging solar technologies and products.
3. Technical Support & Training
- Provide expert guidance on product selection, installation, and performance to clients and partners.
- Develop technical documentation, including product specifications, datasheets, and manuals.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars on solar technologies and best practices.
4. Sales & Business Development Support
- Work closely with the sales team to develop market expansion strategies.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and quotations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key clients.
5. Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control processes to maintain high product standards.
- Address and resolve technical issues or customer complaints efficiently.
- Conduct regular product testing and evaluation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in technical service or management within the solar industry.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven experience in customer service and technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to conduct training sessions for internal teams and external partners.
- Hands-on experience with solar product installation and related technologies.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
