Technical Content Writer

Description:

LUMS Energy Institute is looking to hire a "Technical Content Writer" to oversee its department of proposal submissions and grant submissions as well as reviewing and editing Research Papers.

The ideal candidate should be well versed in:

• Technical Documentation of products and services within the capacity of the power sector of Pakistan.
• Experienced in different writing styles as well as familiar with plagiarism checkers.
• Service minded to independently work and document structured results in terms of content for a vast field of knowledge.
• You must be driven, efficient and flexible to be able to deliver documentation in sufficient quality, reaching set time lines.

Degree Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree preferably in "Computer Science or Electrical Engineering". Masters Preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Technical Content Writing.

Requirements:

- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication in English

- Works independently as well as able to work in a team environment

- Experience working in a structured documentation environment within an agile software

development environment to meet software application development documentation

- Adaptability to address multiple levels of technical knowledge

- Highly proficient in MS Office suite and Google apps

- Basic knowledge in command line tool to use test system

- Accustomed to short deadlines
