We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Medical Billing team in the Production Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Medical Billing team in the Production Department during night shifts.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of medical billing transactions.
- Monitor and manage daily production targets, ensuring they are met or exceeded consistently.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex billing issues and escalations.
- Generate and analyse reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a high level of quality control to meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in medical billing practices.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in medical billing, with a strong understanding of billing processes and industry regulations.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a production or operations environment.
- In-depth knowledge of medical coding, insurance verification, claims processing, and revenue cycle management.
- Proficient in using billing software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
