Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Officer based in Lahore. Vision Group is lookin for a Tax Officer will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and staying updated on changes in tax legislation.
Responsibilities
- Handle all tax-related documentation for plot purchase transactions.
- Prepare and submit tax challans, returns, and supporting schedules as per statutory requirements.
- Liaise with government departments (e.g., FBR, development authorities, registrar offices).
- Maintain accurate records of tax payments, deductions, and reconciliations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws related to property transactions.
- Support internal and external audits with required tax documentation.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payment of dues.
- Assist in drafting internal SOPs for tax compliance in property matters.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Tax Preparation, Tax Compliance, and general Tax practices
- Experience in taxation or property-related tax matters preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage
- Prior experience in the real estate industry is a plus
