Position: Tax officer
Location: Lahore
Company: Tara Group Pakistan

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with all FBR and provincial tax laws.
• Maintain tax records and documentation for audits and assessments.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities.
• Assist in tax planning, reconciliation, and verification of tax deductions.
• Monitor updates in taxation laws and implement necessary changes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in taxation (corporate or industry background preferred).
• Strong knowledge of FBR regulations and e-filing systems (IRIS, PRA, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and good communication skills.
