Description:
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Tax Manager to lead our tax operations and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning, reporting, and advisory—both local and international. This role demands analytical strength, deep technical tax knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements and internal teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure timely filing of tax returns (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, etc.).
- Conduct detailed reviews of tax computations, returns, and reconciliations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies for clients across different sectors and jurisdictions.
- Advise clients on tax planning, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance.
- Represent clients in dealings with tax authorities and support during audits.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure updates are communicated and implemented.
- Lead and mentor junior tax associates and analysts.
- Collaborate with accounting and legal teams on cross-functional matters.
- Maintain documentation for internal and external compliance purposes
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law.
- Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in tax compliance and advisory.
- Professional certification such as CA (qualified or finalist), ACCA, or CPA is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Pakistani tax laws; experience with international tax is a plus.
- Strong grip on tax software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
