Tax Compliance Officer

Quick Food Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., a well-known player in the FMCG sector, is hiring a Tax Officer to join its Finance department in Karachi. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company’s tax compliance framework while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for handling all statutory tax compliance tasks, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns, maintaining proper tax records, and supporting internal and external audits. The role demands a keen understanding of Pakistan's taxation laws and strong analytical capabilities to manage documentation and communication with tax authorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and filing monthly and annual tax returns including Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax (WHT).

• Assisting with tax audits and responding to queries from tax authorities in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintaining proper tax documentation, registers, and up-to-date compliance records.

• Supporting internal departments with tax-related advice and clarifications.

• Ensuring all tasks are performed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of tax laws and statutory compliance in Pakistan.

• Hands-on experience in tax filing and ERP systems will be an added advantage.

• High level of attention to detail, along with strong analytical and documentation skills.
