We’re Hiring: Tax & Bookkeeping Associate at Mahanga & Co, Chartered Accountants

We are looking for a Tax & Bookkeeping Associate to join our team at Mahanga & Co, Chartered Accountants.

Location: Karachi

Position: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation and filing of income tax and sales tax returns

- Managing tax notices and compliance correspondence

- Assisting in tax planning and advisory

- Maintaining bookkeeping for clients using accounting software

- Preparing financial statements and reconciliations

- Staying up to date with relevant tax and accounting laws

Requirements:

- Solid understanding of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 and Sales Tax Act, 1990

- Proficient in IRIS, eFBR, and accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero preferred)

- Preferably part-qualified CA, ACCA, or equivalent

- 1–2 years of experience in tax and/or bookkeeping (motivated fresh candidates will be considered)
