Tax Accountant

Description:

A reputed manufacturing and distribution firm in Lahore is actively seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Pakistani tax regulations, particularly in Sales Tax, and will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and managing compliance with tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update company accounts and stock registers

• Ensure full compliance with Pakistani tax laws, especially Sales Tax laws

• Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and timely

• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during financial evaluations

• Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure up-to-date practices

• Analyze financial records to identify tax-saving opportunities and areas of risk

Requirements:

• Proven experience in handling tax matters and compliance

• Strong knowledge of Sales Tax laws in Pakistan

• Familiarity with stock management and accounting systems

• Ability to manage financial documentation with attention to detail

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
