PEL is looking for System Support Engineer. Incumbent must have done BS IT along with 1-3 years experience in providing technical support and resolving queries related to hardware, software, and network.
Job Description
- Provide technical assistance to computer system users. Response the user quires and resolve computer problems for users, via telephone or from remote location and provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, operating systems, and monitor LAN, WAN, Internet links availability .
- Maintain and enhance the automated complaint management system impart training to users.
- Implementation and Troubleshooting of end user problems regarding LAN/WAN.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of E-mail clients.
- Assist Network Administrator for deployment of new departmental networks, installation of phase plates and RJ 45 Connectors to provide network connectivity.
- Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of proxy settings at clients for internet access.
- Provide help to production areas of power and appliances division regarding production appliances.
- Maintain Inventory of computers Peripherals, accessories and Software’s like Switches, Routers, Phase Plates, RJ 45 Connectors etc.
- Plan and Stage New Network Technologies under the supervision of Manager Database and System. Maintain and enhance the automated complaint management and impart training of the user.
- R & D about the latest development in the System, Network and Communication field.
