System & Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

• Will be responsible for the management Physical & Virtualization Server infrastructure and storage
• Can oversee support for the production services in both physical and virtual environments
• Implement changes and/or new features to support and secure the Linux / Windows infrastructure based on the requirement either locally or over the Alibaba Cloud
• Provide support of all production servers and services and supporting systems
• Design, implement, and support the computing systems, including both physical and virtual systems, and perform configuration, maintenance, support, and engineering tasks
• Can design and configure Linux / Windows systems and will handle all upgrades and security patches to application and OS based on agreed-upon maintenance windows
• Coordinate with other functional and technical teams to ensure standard provisioning of resources on the server / storage level
• Standardization, Optimization and automation of the physical and virtualized systems
• Perform routine systems administration related functions to maintain all Physical and Virtualization servers
• Recommend, design, and implement systems management and automation solutions
• Installation, Configuration and Managing Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SCSM, WSUS, AV, and other infrastructural services on Windows and/or Linux environment.

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field from an accredited University required.

At least 3-4 years’ experience in national / multinational organizations in domains (not limited to): Dell/HP/IBM Servers, Windows Operating System, Linux

Operating System, AIX Operating System, Unix Operating System, Virtualization Platforms: HyperV, VMware etc.
