System Engineer

Description:

FHK is looking for a proactive and skilled System Engineer to join their technology team in Islamabad. This full-time position involves managing, supporting, and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure smooth business operations. The role requires hands-on experience in configuring, monitoring, and securing systems, servers, networks, and cloud platforms.

As a System Engineer, you will provide both first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. You will configure and maintain user accounts, manage workstations, and oversee both cloud and on-premise servers. The role demands expertise in installing and maintaining operating systems and applications, along with managing endpoint security tools.

A strong focus will be placed on managing virtual environments and cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure. You will monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity and latency issues, and implement robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data integrity. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting and securing infrastructure used by internal tools and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with industry protocols.

Ideal candidates should have solid experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, scripting, and IT security best practices.
