Sysops Engineer

Description:

This is a full-time remote SysOps Engineer role. As a SysOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring our cloud infrastructure, including AWS,OCI and Azure. You will ensure that our systems are operational and that there is high uptime. You will also be responsible for automating deployment, administering backups, and provisioning infrastructure. Furthermore, you will be collaborating with other employees to address customer and system needs, monitor applications, and respond to any issues.

Must Have:

Good Experience in Linux centric [RedHat & Oracle Linux].

Proficiency in Linux, SQL, Jira, Git/Bitbucket, AWS, OCI, and other cloud platforms

Commercial Deployment Automation Tools

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and/or Azure
• Experience in automation and scripting with Python, Ruby, Bash, or similar
• Familiarity with Linux administration, including provisioning, patch management, and troubleshooting
• Experience in container management with tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
• Any of the following certifications is a plus: OCI,AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
