Description:
Sehat Medical Devices is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer to join our supply chain team. The Supply Chain Officer will play a crucial role in supporting various supply chain activities to ensure seamless operations and efficient coordination within the supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing inventory levels and maintaining optimal stock levels for raw materials and finished goods
- Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness
- Assist in monitoring and optimizing transportation and logistics activities to meet delivery schedules and cost targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast supply and demand requirements
- Support the development and implementation of efficient supply chain processes and procedures
- Assist in analyzing supply chain data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
- Coordinate with international suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective import of raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with international vendors, optimizing costs and lead times
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs procedures, and trade agreements to facilitate smooth import operations
- Monitor shipments, handle documentation, and resolve any discrepancies related to import activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast import requirements and optimize inventory levels
- Handle documentation related to procurement, inventory, and logistics activities
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role is preferred but not mandatory; fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices
