We are a fast-growing Amazon FBA brand in home textiles (towels, sheets, kitchen linens). We combine strong textile manufacturing partners with data-driven ecommerce operations to deliver high-quality, sustainable products.
Role Summary
Own end-to-end supply chain for our Amazon FBA business—from demand planning and purchase orders to production follow-ups, inbound FBA shipments, and inventory health. You’ll use advanced Excel to forecast demand, prevent stock-outs, reduce FBA fees, and keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Demand & Inventory Planning
- Build weekly/monthly forecasts at ASIN level; maintain safety stock & coverage days.
- Track IPI score, aged inventory, and stranded stock; drive actions to improve.
- Plan replenishments by FC and marketplace in line with restock limits and seasonality.
Amazon FBA Operations
- Create/route FBA shipments (SPD/LTL), cartonization, labeling, and appointment coordination.
- Monitor FC transfers, receiving discrepancies, shortages/chargebacks, removals & returns.
- Optimize size tiers/dimensions to minimize FBA fees and volumetric weight.
Sourcing, Production & Quality (Textiles)
- Raise POs; follow up with mills/factories on yarn, weaving/knitting, dyeing, cutting, stitching, packing.
- Review specs (GSM, yarn count, construction, shrinkage, colorfastness); align on AQL and lab tests.
- Ensure packaging compliance (polybag warnings, carton specs, inserts) and accurate carton manifests.
Logistics & 3PL
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and 3PLs; select modes, book shipments, track ETD/ETA.
- Maintain shipment documents (CI, PL, COO, HS codes) and ensure on-time delivery to FCs.
Data, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Build dashboards for forecast vs. actuals, OTIF, turns, DOH, landed cost & contribution margin.
- Standardize SOPs for inbound, prep/label, and exception handling; drive continuous improvement.
What Success Looks Like (KPIs)
- Stockout rate: <2% of revenue days lost
- Forecast accuracy (MAPE): ≤20% on top sellers
- Inventory turns / DOH: Target by category achieved
- IPI score: ≥ 500 (or brand target)
- Aged inventory (>90 days): ↓ month-on-month
- Shipment defect/shortage claims: ≤1%
- FBA fee savings: measurable improvement via size-tier & packaging optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Industrial/Manufacturing, Business, or Textile Engineering/Technology.
- 3–5 years in supply chain/operations; Amazon FBA experience required.
- Strong textile knowledge (terry, CVC/PC blends, GSM, yarn counts, finishing, shrinkage & wash tests).
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, LOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, dynamic arrays); comfort with data modeling.
- Proficiency with Seller Central (shipments, inventory health, removals, case logs).
- Clear communicator; vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with fast, metrics-driven environments.
