Are you passionate about guiding students toward their dream careers abroad? FSOES is looking for a Student Career Counselor – UK Market to join our dynamic team in Peshawar. In this role, you will mentor students aspiring to study in the UK, providing comprehensive guidance on admissions, visa documentation, scholarships, and career planning. You’ll be a key part of shaping the educational journeys of ambitious students and helping them achieve their international education goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one counseling for students interested in studying in the UK.
- Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities, programs, and scholarships.
- Guide students through admissions requirements, documentation, financial planning, and timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK universities, courses, entry criteria, and visa regulations.
- Prepare students for credibility interviews required by UK institutions and UKVI.
- Conduct career counseling sessions to align study choices with long-term professional goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners.
- Maintain accurate student records and manage the application lifecycle from inquiry to enrollment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, Business, Marketing, or Counseling (14 / 16 years of education).
- 1–3 years of experience in student counseling, preferably for the UK market.
- Strong understanding of UK higher education systems, visa policies, and admission requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to counsel students with empathy and build trust with families.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for student data management.
