Description:
We’re creating a digital space where real people share personal, powerful, and sometimes forgotten stories — from old skills and places to war-time memories and family traditions.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Story Research & Community Outreach Intern, you’ll be the bridge between Yadein and the voices that deserve to be heard. Your role will be to:
- Find individuals with meaningful, untold stories (forgotten crafts, migration tales, place-based nostalgia, etc.)
- Reach out, engage and build trust with storytellers — from elders and artisans to everyday people with rich personal experiences
- Coordinate and assist in getting them on board for a recorded video segment
- Work with the content team to help prepare each story for filming (location, tone, context)
Who You Are
- A naturally curious person — you love listening to people and asking the right questions
- Comfortable speaking to strangers, even elders or community figures
- Emotionally intelligent and culturally sensitive
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage outreach timelines
- Bonus if you speak multiple regional languages or have access to diverse communities
What You’ll Gain
- Hands-on experience in story scouting, human research, and community engagement
- A chance to build something meaningful with a growing cultural brand
- Work closely with a passionate, creative team
- Your name credited on every story you help bring to life
