State Bank of Pakistan in collaboration with the National Institute of Banking & Finance launched the National Financial Literacy Program for Youth (NFLP-Y) to impart essential financial education to Pakistani youth and school-going children to strengthen their financial management skills and knowledge. The program targets various age groups and has extended across 65 selected districts of Pakistan including GB & AJK, enabling the youth towards financial literacy. 

Leaping a further mile, the State Bank of Pakistan commenced the country’s biggest Virtual Internship Program through the National Financial Literacy Program for Youth. Since its launch in July 2021, over 26,000 students have been offered the Virtual Internship opportunity and many have successfully completed their internships. Upon achievement of the target, the internee is honored with a certificate and stipend. Being Pakistan’s Biggest Virtual Internship Program, our objective is to ensure that maximum number of students benefit from this opportunity and enhance their knowledge of financial management, leadership, strategic and communication skills. Students of any registered School, TVET, College or HEC Recognized University within Pakistan and AJK are eligible to apply for the Virtual Internship.

The basic aim of the program is to impart essential financial education to Pakistani youth and school going children for strengthening of their money management skills and understanding of
financial matters. The program mainly targets three age groups (School Going Children -age 9-12 years; Adolescent - age 13-17 years; Youth - age 18-29 years) across Pakistan.
National Financial Literacy Program for Youth brings an amazing opportunity under its virtual internship program for students to develop their leadership, strategic and communication skills.
Eligibility
Be a Student of registered School, TVET, College or HEC Recognized University within Pakistan and AJK.
