Sr Shopify Developer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to manage and enhance our Shopify Plus stores worldwide. In this role, you will work with marketing, design, logistics, and customer service teams to deliver seamless online experiences that drive sales and customer satisfaction. From building new features to optimizing performance, you will play a key role in scaling GK Hair’s e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify Plus stores across multiple regions.

· Build custom features, sections, and apps using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.

· Ensure site speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness are always optimized.

· Integrate third-party tools (ERPs, CRMs, payment gateways, logistics, and marketing platforms).

· Support marketing campaigns with technical solutions like landing pages, promotions, and A/B tests.

· Collaborate with design teams to deliver pixel perfect, user friendly experiences.

· Provide ongoing technical support for store updates and global rollouts.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

· 3+ years of proven Shopify development experience with live store examples.

· Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; React is a plus.

· Experience with Shopify APIs, app development, and integrations.

· Proficiency in Git, Google Analytics, and conversion optimization.

· Understanding of SEO, site performance, and UX best practices.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
